When an existing solution isn’t optimal, we build our custom solutions on a powerful marketing and sales optimized platform called AKTAV. The AKTAV platform combines off the shelf software and a unique proprietary data structure paradigm that has evolved to best serve the flexibility at scale needs of sales, marketing, merchandising, trade promotion, business development and operations.

AKTAV includes:

  • A unique data structure paradigm (called the Six-Pak) that is based on the way that marketing and sales see the world. Historically, data structure paradigms were developed to meet the needs of highly structured functions like accounting and production. In Marketing and Sales, creativity is highly prized so processes can be highly unstructured, morphing constantly with exceptions to standard processes, so traditional data structure paradigms can fall short. The AKTAV Six-Pak is a paradigm that models everything as entities (or things), hierarchies of entities, types (or classifications) of entities, data about entities and relationships between entities. This approach has proven to be flexible at scale because models can be easily changed as processes change or exceptions come up.
  • A data warehouse built using the Six-Pak structure
  • A content management interface that allows users to change models of things and individual entities in the data warehouse without needing to know how to program. Easy-to-use wizards configure the model (e.g., adding and deleting types and the relationships between them) and the entities (creating, deleting or updating entities).
  • Web apps that filter, search, automate, exchange, report and profile.
  • Customizable jumpers that allow you to exchange data with other platforms (e.g., CRM, Marketing Automation, etc.), with archival storage of data exchanged
  • An analytics layer (part of the paradigm in the data warehouse) that simplifies connections to existing analytics tools
